Hi All,
Is it possible to batch open Revit files (eg.rfa's) and invoke a set of commands?
I posed this ? a few years ago to Autodesk and the answer then was no. Maybe api or python could do later.
This what i am trying to do:
Batch open quite a few families, hide the reference planes/lines, set the 3D view and then a Zoom fit the file
(doesn't have to be 3D).
There may be a utility that can do this...not too sure...tried CTC software...no go.
Currently the family image and the reference planes take up the library view image all you can view are the ref.planes. "AWFUL". Tried also in W11 explorer...same thing.
Leaving the image like this for others to figure out what the image is about i think is not good practice.
unless there are good Naming Conventions at hand.
Can this be done folks. Maybe Python?
