Re: Get the Selected Cell in a Schedule (not the Object)

Thanks mepspacenamer for replying.  I've been struggling with trying to get the selected cell location for days.

The goal is to allow a user to select one or a few cells, then run a script to use just that text for a utility.  I know it gives me the ID's, but I just want the text.  Or at least give me the Column and Row number in the grid.

I do have a solution for now though.
After dinking for a while, I just gave up though, and just used the GetCellText in a loop in a loop to make a dataGridView in a win form.  Then I can select whatever I want more easily.  Sucks that it adds a second step to the selection process for my plug-in, but whatev.  It works.

But ideally, it would be amazing if the Revit API's allowed users to get the selection "in the schedule" not just the linked object.  Or at least get the selection column and row numbers.
