Thanks once again for clarifying this, and saving me 
. Now I know which exceptions not to catch now. Yes you are correct what I meant was, there is no method I know to obtain this information from the Revit API, from Navisworks I wouldn't know, but what you are suggesting sounds like a good assumption.
