Exporting/importing 3D and metadata from revit files to custom format

Hi,

I have two queries :

1. I am not able to load revit 2016 addins on Windows 10 - I am following this tutorial http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/index?siteID=123112&id=16849339

Does Revit APIs have any known issues with Windows 10 ?

2. can we add all the assets (e.g wall,roof,floor,door,window,electric wiring,ac ducts etc)reading from an outside 3d format and create a revit file from scratch programmatically using revit sdk? So essentially I want to write 3d data and other metadata in  to an editable revit file programmatically .
